Welcome to PCOTW’s Youth Program!

We have a lot going on!  All are welcome to attend as they can to make new friends, deepen their faith, increase their knowledge, and have fun!

Clearwater Forest Snow Camp & High School Spring Retreat

Join us for a great weekend in the woods!

 

Snow Camp, January 21-23, 6-12th grades

High School Spring Retreat, April 8-12, 9-12th grades

 

To register, fill out the registration form and submit a check to PCOTW for $90.  $15 helps cover the cost of the volunteer leaders.

 

Please have registrations for Snow Camp before Christmas.  We cannot guarantee you space if you register in January.  Turn in the forms to Stephanie, Trish or the office.

 

Please have registrations for the High School Spring Retreat in by March 13th.  We cannot guarantee you space if you register later than 3/13.  Turn in the forms to Stephanie or the office.

SLAM

Wednesdays, 6:30-7:30pm (Dinner 5:30 to 6:20pm in Ling Hall.)

6-12th grades, B-12

Following our church wide dinners in Ling Hall, youth gather in B-12 for discussion and fun.  We share updates about our lives, discuss various topics of interest, study the Bible, and participate in a fun activity!   

SLAM Plus

Friday, Saturday, Sunday as planned for 6-12th grades 

Come have fun and help others!  We participate in a variety of activities from paint ball and lock-ins to volunteering at Feed My Starving Children.   

 Youth Christian Education

Our youth leaders are excited to be part of the faith journey of our youth!  Friends and visitors always welcome!  Our youth classes are held downstairs in the "youth corner".

 

6th & 7th graders, Rm B-13: Bible Study

Join us for a year of exploring the Bible from cover to cover!  We'll be using games, projects, and acting to learn our faith history and what Jesus taught us!  Our gifted teachers are excited to walk the Bible with you!  This is a great way to get an overall understanding of the Bible and gain essential information as prepration for Confirmation.

 

8th & 9th graders, Rm B-11: Confirmation 

Our new 1-year Confirmation program is designed to prepare our 8th & 9th graders for affirming their belief in God and Christ and become a full member of PCOTW and PC(USA).  We have a number of great Sunday retreats planned and other fun ways to explore your faith!

 

Not interested in participating in Confirmation or just visiting?  8th graders are welcome to join the Bible Study class and 9th graders our 10-12th grade class.

 

10th - 12th graders, Rm B-12: Living Our Faith

Join us for a variety of classes aimed and learning how to apply our faith to our lives.

 

Jan. 16th - Faith Talk

Come join us for a discussion about various faith and life issues that you have questions about.  We will be using a video or Thoughtful Christian session to start us off.

Come meet with Rev. Ely Marlow and students from Macalester College to discuss what it is like to have a spiritual life on campus.  They look forward to your questions!

Discuss great mission opportunities with former PC(USA) Young Adult Volunteers!
