Stara School Children

A personal journey to Nairobi, Kenya, identified a mission call to which the PCOTW Mission Commission quickly responded. The result is our congregation is helping to feed hundreds of children in the slums of Kenya. Their parents are victims or are dying of AIDS. The children and the country are at crisis point.

Presbyterian Church of the Way continues to extend our compassion to these children.

Hunger, Children and Kenya

World hunger is incomprehensible: every year 15 million children die of hunger. The World Health Organization estimates: 1/3 of the children are well fed 1/3 of the children are underfed 1/3 of the children are starving!! That’s correct: 1/3! 650,000 Kenyan children (in 2003) were orphaned with one or both parents dead from AIDS.
