Welcome to Children's Way Preschool's corner on the Internet. We are pleased you are considering our school for your child's preschool experience. We want to assure you, should you enroll your child, that your child will be loved and well taken care of while he/she is with us. Children's Way Preschool is affiliated with Presbyterian Church of the Way in providing a warm, loving, healthy, safe and stimulating environment for children of our community. Children will be offered the opportunity to grow and develop cognitively, emotionally, spiritually, socially and physically. We want your child to learn of his/her own self-worth, while also learning the importance of others and respecting their rights.
Your child will, at all times, be under the supervision of our staff, who will provide a variety of activities at the developmental level of your child. Your child will be able to play with a wide assortment of toys that encourage imaginative expression and tine motor coordination. Many exciting stories from our library of children's books will be read and your child will also have the opportunity to explore many types of creative art experiences. We will do our best to make your child's time with us happy, safe and rewarding.
Children’s Way Preschool is a Half Day Program for children ages 35 months, by September 1st of the year enrolling, through kindergarten entrance.
Location
Children's Way Preschool is located in Presbyterian Church of the Way Church, 3382 North Lexington Avenue, Shoreview, Minnesota 55126. The entrance used for the school is the main church entrance on the east side of the building.
Smoke-Free and Gun-Free
Presbyterian Church of the Way is a smoke-free facility and allows no concealed weapons in the building. Children's Way Preschool does not allow video cell phones with the ability of transmitting photos to be used in or near the classroom or where children are present.
Licensing
Children's Way Preschool is licensed by the Minnesota Department of Human Services, Division of Licensing, (651) 296-3971.
Enrollment
Children's Way preschool is a non-profit organization, is operated in accordance with the U. S. Department of Agriculture policy which does not permit discrimination because of race, color, national origin, religion, age, sex or handicap. Any person who feels he or she has been discriminated against in any USDA related activity may write to the Secretary of Agriculture, Washington, DC 20250.
Health Consultation
Children's Way Preschool receives health consultation services from Dr. Sandra Sackett, Pediatric Medicine
Visiting
Children's Way Preschool has an "open door" visiting policy. Any time parents wish to visit or if they wish to pick up their child early or bring their child late, they may enter the building by ringing the door bell of the church, being allowed to enter, and walking through to the classroom.
Payment Policies
Children are expected to remain the full school year. If a child withdraws, a two week written notice to the Director is required.
- Tuition is due the first of each month.
- A payment envelope will be given to parents.
