Special Needs

We welcome all members of the community to our worship services and church activities.
Visitors and members alike sometimes have special needs to make their worship experience more meaningful. The following information describes how Presbyterian Church of the Way has made our facilities and worship services more accessible to those with special needs.
Accessibility
All primary public areas including parking, entrances, restrooms, elevator, and offices are accessible. There are several areas in the sanctuary where individuals or groups with members who use wheelchairs may sit together. Ushers can show you to these places and provide additional assistance, if needed.
Mothers with babies or, for that matter, individuals seeking a more relaxed seating arrangement during worship service may find the rocking chairs at the rear of the sanctuary more comfortable. In addition, services may be viewed and listened to in the narthex.

Assistive Listening Devices
During worship services, ushers can help visitors and members alike with wireless assistive listening devices for the hearing impaired.
Reading Assistance
During worship services, ushers have available large-print bibles, bulletins, music and our weekly News and Notes.
Transportation Assistance
Transportation to and from PCOTW is available for those unable to attend otherwise. Please contact the church office for transportation assistance.
Please contact an usher for answers to questions or for assistance; we will be happy to answer your questions and provide assistance.
