Women's Bible Study

The focus this year is on: "Jubilee!!!  Luke's Gospel for the Poor"

This Bible Study highlights some of the unique aspects of Jesus’ life and teaching found in the Gospel of Luke. The word gospel is an old Anglo-Saxon word meaning "good news." This gospel is about Jesus Christ, the "good news."

In Luke’s Gospel we will read how jubilee came to describe the beginning of the Messianic Age, the time when the Messiah would come and turn the world upside down.

Books for this year’s study will be available on Rally Day, September 7^th. The cost for the books is $7.00.

Bible study groups are open to all women of the church and their friends, and new members are welcome to join at any time. There are two options, depending on your schdule, both meeting at church.

Monday Evening Bible Group

1^st and 3^rd Mondays, 7:00 p.m. during the school year.

Tuesday Morning Bible Group

1^st and 3^rd Tuesdays, 9:30 a.m. during the school year.
