Fall Series: "Mental Health Issues in the Journey of Faith."Topics include mental health issues such as anxiety and depression, and will discuss ways in which we can view them from a Christian perspective.

Presenter: Elizabeth Peterson, RN, MA, MS and Doctor of Ministry Students at Bethel Seminary;Associate Professor of Nursing and Director of the Undergraduate Nursing Program, Bethel University. Beth has taught at Bethel University for 24 years, where she helped create the nursing curriculum. She directs the undergraduate nursing program and teaches Mental Health Nursing Care of the Elderly. She also teaches Nursing as a Christian Health Ministry in the graduate program. Beth is an active member of North Heights Lutheran Church and has two daughters, Sarah and Christine, both adopted from India.
Family & Faith Class *Sunday mornings, 10:00-10:50 a.m., Calvin's Room (Upper Level)
This class covers a variety of practical family issues about parenting, marriage, spiritual growth and special family needs as they relate to Christian values and faith. Class members use DVDs and PowerPoint presentations, have open discussions to share experiences, and listen to special speakers. September 30th's class was, "Your Family and Money," led by Hugh Bredenbeck.
